During the first week of Photography Club, students from Animo went throughout their school and community taking photographs. Their goal was to shoot images that expressed the emotions of loneliness, anger, depression, love and hope. Also with the goal of an end project in mind, they found creative ways to capture and express their own identity and their perceptions of their community.

Students also engage in journaling through writing, drawing and/or collaging as a way of processing and expressing their thoughts and emotions.
